Welcome to The Magdalene Thread.

“What is hidden from you I will tell you” are words spoken by Mary Magdalene in a fragment of the only gospel we have written in the name of a woman.

Within The Gospel of Mary, Mary Magdalene is portrayed as a leader, teacher, and confidant of Jesus Christ, speaking to the disciples in the days after his crucifixion and resurrection. This little known text casts a positive light on her we have not yet considered–at least collectively.

Since antiquity, truth seekers have quietly followed her, from legend-keepers in the South of France, to feminist theologians in the hallowed halls of academia. Then, there’s the Holy Grail–and the fascination this enigmatic tale elicits that has led to a modern revival of Mary Magdalene in Western consciousness.

The mystery surrounding Mary draws us in, and we desire to know more about her in a way that transcends logic and reason.

Mary Magdalene…I don’t know her story, all I know is I feel connected to her,” the woman’s heart whispers.

This curiosity is what brought us here, and if you’ve landed in this space, we know you share this calling and desire to know more about Mary, “the Tower” of strength, a woman at the heart of the early Christian movement.

Why Mary Magdalene?

Mary Magdalene meets you where you are, but doesn’t leave you where she found you.*

She illuminates pathways of possibility for healing and positive transformation.

She invites us to move beyond the boundaries that we, and our culture, have set for ourselves.

She embodies the archetype of all that’s missing or misunderstood–personally and collectively.

She calls us to hold a more compassionate and holistic lens on a belief system deeply in need of revolution.

This is the magic of Mary, a woman who reflects our spiritual sovereignty.

The Magdalene Thread

The Magdalene Thread reimagines Mary Magdalene as the feminine embodiment of a heart-based spirituality.

By gathering and weaving threads of goodness into essays and conversations, we seek to redefine the narrative to create an archetype of wholeness. Through stories, science, and ancient spiritual wisdom, we reveal a tapestry of hope to inspire your spiritual sovereignty.

Our intention is to hold a space of possibility for the truth about Love, as we’ve not yet considered it.

There is no precise way to convey the series of synchronicities that led us here to share this work with you, but it is certain that it is beyond us.

This publication is a calling we hold with reverence for the moments of awe, joy and sacred creativity we intend to share with you here.
